Shocks and Struts

 Keeping your vehicles wheels in contact with the road and riding comfortably are both jobs that suspension covers.  Your vehicles steering is directly affected by its suspension system and proper alignment of your wheels. 

A sign that your shocks are bad or that your struts are worn include an uncomfortable bouncy ride, bottoming out, loss of control while making sudden stops, vehicle swerving more then normal while changing lanes, or a vehicle that has a sag in the front or the rear. 

Shocks~ are designed to provide resistence while your vehicle bounces up and down.  Its is a good idea to have your shocks and struts checked once a year.  They can wear out in 20-30,000 km due to the constant motion of your vehicle. 

Struts~ these control the suspension and string movement to ensure your tires keep in contact with the road.  Struts should also be checked once a year to ensure that they are not wearing out.
